EHS is excited to announce the launch of our new Training Register module, designed to help our clients centralise and monitor their health and safety training competencies and statuses in one convenient location. This module is focused on record-keeping, ensuring that organizations have the necessary evidence readily available during audits or legal proceedings.
At the core of the Training Register is the ability to keep detailed records on each worker’s competence, which is determined by a combination of training, experience, and knowledge necessary for safe task performance.
In addition to the Training Register, we are introducing a new dashboard tile called the “Training Matrix,” which provides a fresh perspective on data analysis within EHS. Please note that the Training Register must be enabled alongside the new People module, as these two modules are interlinked, details here: NEW “People” module – Create a personal safety record – EcoOnline EHS: Release Notes
We believe that the new Training Register module and Training Matrix dashboard tile will be valuable tools for our clients as they strive to maintain high levels of health and safety within their organizations. We look forward to hearing your feedback as we continue to innovate and improve our EHS offerings.
Benefits
Streamlined centralisation: The new Training Register module makes it easier than ever for organizations to centralize all their training competency records in a single, digital location that can be accessed from anywhere. This means that no matter where your team is working from, they can quickly access & monitor the training records they need to keep updated to stay compliant and for workers to remain competent.
Flexible record management: The module is format-agnostic and allows for the logging of all kinds of training, including formal training, on-the-job training, qualifications, and assessment results of workers. This flexibility ensures that all training records can be accurately captured, regardless of the format in which they were completed.
Comprehensive reporting: With reporting capabilities that provide a clear view of training compliance across the entire organization, clients can easily monitor training status and track progress toward their compliance goals. This includes the ability to view the percentage of records that are “In Date” for all workers.
Enhanced record-keeping: Each training record can include proof of course completion (attachment), which means that clients can quickly and easily provide evidence of training completion in the event of an audit or legal proceedings.
Delegation of responsibilities: The new module allows training coordinators and managers at local sites to capture and monitor training records, which means that clients can delegate responsibilities and contribute to the overall training compliance of the organisation more effectively.
Insightful competence levels: Clients can record “Competence Levels” for each worker, which provides additional insight into the development areas of their organisation. By understanding the levels of competence of their workforce, clients can better target their training efforts and ensure that workers have the knowledge and skills they need to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
